ROARING LION

Sin is a struggle for each of us. We have different weak points, and different temptations, but the common thing for each of us is that we are sinners.

Read 1 Peter 5:8

We have to be alert! If we are not aware of the schemes of the evil one, we will surely become prey to his schemes.

Ephesians 6:10-17 reminds us of the armour God has given us to put on daily and use in this battle we are in. Read that passage and take some time to meditate on it.

Another important element in a battle is that we don’t go out alone. Even the best prepared, best equipped and most skilled soldier, when found on the battlefield alone finds themselves in serious danger!

Vulnerability + Isolation = Danger Zone.

Take some time: - journal if it helps you:
Do you have people standing alongside you in your battle?
• If you do, take some time to thank God for those people. (Perhaps even take some time to send them a short message thanking them for their support of you)
• If you don’t, is it because you have closed yourself off to them for some reason? Ask God to show you people in your life who could support you. (Take some initiative and ask for support. Perhaps even set up a coffee date right now.)

Do you have people standing alongside you in your battle?
• If yes, spend some time praying for those people. (Perhaps take some time today to ask them if there is anything specific they need support in)
• If no, ask God to show you someone who would benefit hugely from your support in their lives. And then take the initiative to stand alongside them.
